  • Colorado Health Professionals Panel:
    A 28 member board, funded by Colorado Trust(www.coloradotrust.org). Responsible for assessing the needs of Colorado relative to allocation/distribution of health care professionals. CFMC has board representation.
  • American Health Quality Association (AHQA, www.ahqa.org) :
    Previously known as American Medical Peer Review Association (AMPRA). Quality Improvement Organization Trade Association.
  • Colorado Clinical Guidelines Collaborative:
    A Colorado coalition of health plans, physicians, hospitals, and other providers working together to improve health care through the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based clinical guidelines.
  • Colorado Personalized Education for Physicians (CPEP, cpep@cpepdoc.org):
    Formed in 1987, with representation from seven organizations. CPEP is a non-profit organization formed to assist physicians in improving their medical practice. Half the physicians served are from Colorado, the other half are from 18 other states. Member organizations include: Colorado Hospital Association (CHA), Colorado Medical Society (CMS), Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine (CSOM), University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC), Colorado Physicians Health Program (CPHP) and Colorado Physician Insurance Company (COPIC). CFMC has board representation.
  • Coral Initiative:
    An association of Quality Improvement Organizations whose members meet on a periodic basis to learn and grow and derive strength from one another based on common business and CQI interests. The QIO members include Iowa, Utah, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Colorado.
  • Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce (www.aescon.com/denver/):
    A business coalition which provides it members with economic and business trend information. CFMC’s gold membership provides our organization networking opportunities, training for our associates, and group buying power for products and services. The Chamber supports the community through civic leadership and programs, and acts as an advocate for business interests in local, state, and federal legislative issues.
  • Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) (www.krma.org/healthyimpact/):
    To help reduce health disparities, the Colorado Foundation for Medical Care, Rocky Mountain PBS, and the Anti-Defamation League are collaborating on Healthy Impact!—a two-year project that seeks to identify and expose the link between mental and physical health care discrepancies within vulnerable populations in Colorado through dialogue and education.
