Holidays and Paid LeaveCFMC observes 10 paid holidays each year. They include New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, Christmas (and in certain years the day before or after Christmas) and one floating holiday. Regular full-time (40 hours/week) employees accrue 18-23 days of annual leave and 7 days of extended illness leave per year. Accruals begin with the first pay period following the pay period in which the employee is hired. Employees who work 20 - 39 hours/week accrue a prorated amount of days based on hours worked. Health InsuranceAssociates who regularly work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the CFMC health plan. CFMC pays the entire cost for individual coverage and employees share a portion of the cost with CFMC of the premium for dependent coverage. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following the date of hire. Employees may choose to opt out of medical plan with proof of insurance from another carrier. Dental InsuranceEmployees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the CFMC dental plan. CFMC pays the entire cost for employee coverage and employee pays 100% of the dependent coverage. All employees must sign up for dental insurance. Vision InsuranceEmployees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for vision coverage. CFMC pays the cost for individual coverage; the employee pays for the cost of dependent coverage.

Life InsuranceAssociates who regularly work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for the group term life insurance plan. CFMC pays the entire cost for employee coverage, which provides a benefit of three times the employee's annual salary, up to $600,000. Spouses are covered for $5,000 and dependent children for $1,000 each at no cost to the employee. Additional voluntary life coverage (paid by the employee) is available to employees and their dependents. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following the date of hire. Accidental Death and Dismemberment InsuranceAssociates who regularly work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for the group AD&D plan. CFMC pays the entire cost of basic coverage for the employee, which provides a maximum benefit of three times the employee's salary up to $600,000. Additional voluntary coverage (paid by the employee) is available to employees and their dependents. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following the date of hire. Long Term DisabilityAssociates who regularly work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for the group LTD plan. CFMC pays the entire cost for employee coverage. Coverage becomes effective on the first of the month following the date of hire. Travel AccidentAssociates who regularly work 20 or more hours per week are covered under a travel accident policy, while on CFMC business, beginning with their date of employment. The maximum benefit is $100,000 and the total cost of coverage is paid by CFMC. PensionPension benefits provide income, which supplements an employee's savings, social security, and other sources of funds at retirement. CFMC offers an ERISA qualified money purchase program with a variety of investment options. Employees are eligible for the Pension Plan one year from their start date. Enrollment months are January and July. 403(b)Tax Deferred Annuities & Mutual Funds - Retirement Savings PlansSeveral plans are available through VALIC, Janus Funds, First Investors, TIAA-CREF and Lincoln National Life, enabling all employees to exclude a portion of their income from current federal and state taxes and put those dollars to work building retirement savings. These are voluntary payroll deduction plans. Flexible Benefit Plan (Section 125)Associates working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the Flexible Benefit Plan. Employees are given the opportunity to "redirect" part of their salary (before taxes) into flexible spending accounts and use the funds to pay for health insurance premiums (effective immediately), day care expenses (effective immediately), and unreimbursed medical expenses, which are effective after four months of employment. Tuition Reimbursement PlanAssociates who work 20 hours per week and have completed six months of continuous service are eligible for 100% reimbursement of tuition, fees and books for approved classes as defined in the policy. The maximum amount for reimbursement per employee for fiscal year ending June 30, 2007 is $1,000.00. Credit Union MembershipAll associates and their immediate families are eligible for membership in the Westerra Credit Union and Bellco Credit Union. Paycheck Direct DepositAssociates are able to make direct payroll deposits to any bank and most credit unions in the United States. Flex-TimeCFMC offers a flexible work schedule, which allows employees to choose their starting and quitting times within core hours set by the company and/or department. Casual DressMonday through Thursday, the accepted dress standard at CFMC is
"Business Dress Casual". Fridays, Employee Appreciation Days and other
days so designated are casual days. |
