Validation

The validation review of data submitted is conducted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Clinical Data Abstraction Center (CDAC) for selected hospitals participating in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program (Reporting Program), formerly known as the Reporting Hospital Quality Data for Annual Payment Update (RHQDAPU) program.
