NHQI: Culture Change

Culture change encompasses care practices, work place practices, environmental modification, leadership, and transformational change. The movement from an institutional to a more home-like model is notably attributed to the work of Eden Alternative, the Pioneer Network, and the Wellspring Model. CFMC believes that the opportunity exists for participating nursing homes to make an enormous difference in the quality of life for both residents and staff through this work.
