Flu and Pneumonia Immunizations

Nearly 114,000 people in the United States are hospitalized and about 20,000 people die from influenza. Many of these deaths are among those 65 years or older. Also, community-acquired pneumonia is one of the most common causes of hospitalization among elderly patients. CFMC is committed to providing educational materials and office tools to increase the administration of influenza and pneumococcal immunizations for Medicare beneficiaries.
